Yaroslav Putyata

For a tattoo from Yaroslav Putyata have to go to Kiev, where he lives, or London, where he occasionally visits. But it is worth it: Yaroslav works in the technique of handpoke: to make such a delicate tattoo does not need a machine - only a sterile needle, special ink and skilful hands of the artist. Tattoos are very soft in texture, graphic and "analogue". Perfect for your first tattoo.

Lera Elur

- I don't copy other people's work. When people send me a photo of a tattoo from the internet and say, "Do the same," I tell them no. A tattoo is about uniqueness. That's why I only do my drawings once and I draw on request - if a person has an idea, I help him realize it.

Valeria is 26 years old, moved to Georgia from Ukraine four years ago, and became interested in the handpoke style of tattooing here. She works in Tbilisi's Lucy studio near the Sukhoi Bridge, tattoos people from Russia, Ukraine and Europe, and says "handwork is more interesting to her than machine work.

- Compare a cup made by a potter by hand with a cup from a store - and you understand the difference," says Valeria. - It's the same with tattoos - the lines are different, imperfect. And in general, it's such a method back to the roots, because the tattoo has always been applied by hand.

Idea for the first tattoo: inscriptions in the Georgian language. For example, like this: on the left, "life is beautiful," on the top right, "everything passes," and on the bottom, "kayfova." But you will, of course, make up your own unique combination.

Third place: Thematic meeting "Tattooist Night" Moscow

Every year on the 1st of October tattoo industry celebrates its professional holiday, on this day in 2014 entered into force GOST 55700 which regulates activity of tattoo industry in Russia, it is the first normative legal act where developed definition of concept "tattoo" is given. And to this day by me was dated carrying out of thematic party "Night of the Tattooist".

On October 1 exactly at 20:30 Moscow club "Lookin Rooms" opened its doors to all the Moscow tattoo crowd. The event with the "drunken party" format gathered more than 600 guests where the majority were tattoo masters and tattoo parlors staff. That tattoo master were the main guests and everyone else plunged into the world hidden behind the walls of tattoo parlors, this year the festival was more extensive and interesting. Continuous show program, drive, positivity fueled by alcohol, so blew up the guests, that up to the morning, fun did not decrease!

Presented the team broke the stereotypes, all the accepted norms and rules of the parties, hanging guests by hooks, piercing lips and cheeks, striptease, performances of musicians replaced each other until the morning. Friends and guests from the tattoo party were happy to meet each other, you could see teams of 3-4 tattoo parlors at one table. The chic tattooed guests, whose admission was free, shined with their outfits and, of course, their tattoos. It was an epic party!

And I with great pleasure invite everyone to attend it on October 1, 2016, this time the venue is "Izvestia Hall" Moscow.

Ana Tabatadze.

Photographer and illustrator Ana Tabatadze studied medicine in Tbilisi, graphic design at the Academy of Art in Berlin. Her passion for drawing led her to the art of tattooing - after returning to Georgia, Ana opened a tattoo studio in Tbilisi.

Words, phrases and simple symbols, as well as highly erotic drawings, Ana's subtle minimalist works seem to capture the movement of bodies, mystical creatures, and a variety of patterns. The deliberately rough sketches, according to the master, are "an interpretation of our delicate sensitive nature in an industrial world and the balance we struggle to maintain."

Sasha Unisex.

Headliner of RUSSIAN TATTOO EXPO is Sasha Unisex, a popular tattoo artist, graphic designer and owner of a private studio in Rome. It was Sasha who once set the trend for watercolor and outline-free tattoos - seven years ago she started an Instagram account and started posting her tattoo work there.

- I got my first tattoo in the elbow area of my left arm when I was 23 years old," says Sasha. - It was a black and white rose with a girl's face in it. I generally have a lot of tattoos depicting roses, peonies, and origami cranes. The tattoos almost completely cover my legs, left arm, ribs, and shoulder blades. I don't know how many I have, but when people ask me what this or that tattoo means, I am transported mentally to the day when it was done: I remember what the weather was like, the studio interior, the master's face, and what we talked about, what I was thinking at that moment. It's like a photo album that I always have with me. Some good moments would just slip my mind if it wasn't for the tattoo.

View this post on Instagram

There are now over 800,000 people subscribed to Sasha's account. Her unique tattoo work has made her a world-class star, and the recognizable watercolor work costs up to 1,500 euros.

- A tattoo is not about seasonal fashion," believes Sasha. - It is worth understanding that the body image is applied to the skin for life, so you should be responsible in choosing the motif and style of the image, so that they correspond to your inner filling. It is not for nothing that it is recommended to get tattoos at a mature age, when a person is at least approximately aware of what he likes and what could reflect his inner world not only at the moment of applying the tattoo, but also in later life.

Nevertheless, there are still trends and trends in tattoos, but they change smoothly, perhaps not even for years, but for decades. Like, for example, my signature watercolor tattoo style, which was created in 2011. And tattoos with roses or peonies look beautiful and relevant for years.

However, for those not yet ripe for a permanent tattoo, Sasha also has a solution: a temporary transferable tattoo - costs only $10.50 and lasts up to ten days.

Don't rely on a free sketch and don't be afraid of prepayment

If a master has drawn a unique sketch for you, don't even think about asking for it to be sent to you. No person will give their work away for free. Moreover, a good sketch requires a lot of time - at best several hours, and sometimes several days.

Therefore, if the master drew a sketch, and you have not paid for it yet, do not even think about getting it! Don't waste the master's time if you're not ready to buy the work. In addition, the master will find someone to offer it to and where to use it, but you will be treated as a non-serious client.

Most masters require prepayment for their services. There is nothing wrong or surprising about that. Prepayment is quite normal! First, the master can purchase the necessary paints and consumables. Secondly, he insures himself in case you suddenly change your mind, and he just loses his time and can't accept another client.

Elena Baski.

Elena has been working as an art tattoo master for 15 years, owns the studio Wisdom Tattoo and runs the YouTube channel "Baskey About Tattoo", where she explains the meaning of tattoos, whether small tattoos are so good, what to look for when choosing a tattoo salon and much more.

Elena also believes that tattoos change a person's life. That's why she likes complex tasks - working with overlapping scars and complex corrections of old tattoos, and at the consultation she tells the person that after the conversation they will need time - to focus not on the tattoo, but on themselves. To listen and figure out what he really needs.

Elena Baskey works from her sketches in the style of ornamental art. She believes that "ornamental art has been preserved for 5,000 years, and it looks good even on dried mummies.

- When I prepare a sketch, I can refer to different symbols; "jumping" from Freemasons to Eastern philosophy, from medieval Europe to sacred geometry," says Elena. - It is in symbolism that one can see how many intersections and similarities there are with different peoples. For example, Slavic amulets have direct "relatives" in Buddhism.

Second place: Piercing Boutique "Saint Scalpelburg" St. Petersburg

Tattoo and piercing go side by side from the very beginning, and the flagship among piercers are the heads of St. Scalpelburg, Arseny Andersson and Vlad Bodmodov. These two masters of piercing combined their skills, charisma, experience, persistence and ingenuity could create, develop and offer the best of the piercing industry to people of St. Petersburg. Finding a "business niche" in the expensive and high quality segment of piercing jewelry, they were able to win the attention and location of the female sex not only of St. Petersburg. This project sets the rules for good taste and the promotion of piercing in Russia. They are fans and professionals in their field, regular participants in tattoo conventions and themed events.

In 2015 I was lucky enough to meet them more than 6 times: at the "All-Russian battle of tattoo masters" and at the June tattoo convention in St. Petersburg where they were participants and jury members in the nominations for the best piercings, at the September and July tattoo convention in Moscow where at my invitation they participated in the conference as speakers on "Titan in a million", at themed parties "Old School Event Tattoo" and "Tattooist Night".

Andrey Koen

Simple sketches, contoured, often black and white - the work of Andrey Koen, a master from St. Petersburg, intertwines primitivism, absurdity and irony. Andrey works in three styles: art brut - the so-called "rough art", a bold and unusual style of tattoo, which can be compared to children's drawings, and old school - literally "old school", a reflection of love for the old order of things, a worship of "that" music, movies, atmosphere.

Andrey promises the most daring to get a freehand tattoo, which is his third and most difficult style of performance. The peculiarity of such a tattoo is that the master makes it without a stencil and a sketch. Fear not: Andrew

Since 14 years old and perfectly draws - and on the walls, and on the body. An hour of work costs from 3000 rubles.

The best tattoo masters of Russia. What to consider when choosing?

Everyone who decided to get a tattoo for the first time, asks himself the question of what to consider when choosing a specialist. After all, it is extremely important that he was a true professional. Otherwise the result of a hike in a salon will be pitiable!

True tattoo master, whether Russia or another country, rarely advertise about themselves. It became a custom in this area that the best way to say for a master are his works. And already they as if point the way to the salon - mainly through recommendations or positive reviews in social networks.

And truly genius specialists are praised by thematic publications and television programs! Although, of course, the cost of such professionals is extremely high and not every beginner, just thinking about filling up the first drawing on your body, is able to pay such an amount.

In our catalog are presented the best tattoo masters of Russia, who recommend themselves and deserve a lot of reviews. How to orient yourself among so many pros?

Olga "fflowerporn" Nekrasova

The work of the "botanical" lady from St. Petersburg is mesmerizing, leaving behind the delicate drawings of the famous collection of Botanica tableware by Villeroy & Boch. There are delicate lavender, bright poppies, and textured ferns.

- I try to follow the tradition of old botany books," says Olga. - When I first started doing tattoos, I saw an image from just such a book somewhere and decided to try to embody it in a tattoo.

According to Olya, people want to see plants on themselves that they associate with their childhood, family, places and events that are important to them, so these are always interesting stories. Something other than plants, Olya does quite rarely. The cost depends on the size and complexity of the tattoo and how long the work takes, so everything is individual.

The tribute album "Tatu" has split music lovers. Criticizing Danya Milohin and praising Monetochka with Alyona Shvets

Tribute album

The release of the tribute album by Tatu in honor of the 20th anniversary of their compilation "200 oncoming" divided music lovers into two camps. Some listeners welcomed the alternative readings of the band's legendary songs by Alyona Shvets, Dani Milohin, LSP, Manizha and Monetochka. Others thought the liberties in the performance of the tracks were disrespectful to the original and wondered if such covers were necessary.

In honor of the 20-th anniversary of the first collection of tracks "200 on the counter" by the legendary band t.A.T.u. (or "Tatu") a tribute album with 26 covers appeared on all the musical platforms. In them Russian and foreign singers sang the songs of Yulia Volkova and Lena Katina.

Premiere! Album of covers "200 on the counter" from the artists of different genres is now available at all venues! Everyone will find something of his or her own, - reads the post in the official VKontakte group.

Tribute album

Many musicians presented alternative readings of favorite tracks - for example, the LSP band, Danya Milohin, Monetochka, Alyona Shvets, Manizha, the French singer Imany, and even Alla Pugacheva and Sofia Rotaru.

Among music lovers, the release of the tribute album caused controversy. Commentators tried to figure out if the compilation was needed. Many skeptics considered the band Tatu not legendary enough for such honors, unlike, for example, Victor Tsoi or Civil Defense.

Alexander Ponomarev

"Tatu is not Tsoi or Sector of Gas. They started the tribute for nothing.

Others disagreed with such claims, recalling the worldwide fame of the scandalous band, which, in their opinion, supported the LGBT community.

Semanuele Rodrıguez

Let's face it. Tsoi, Gas Sector didn't [give a damn] about the West. B Tatu would still be legends. They helped thousands of people find themselves. They did everything at the right time.

Whatever the case may be, it cannot be denied that the songs of the long-defunct group "Tatu" are still popular and listened to by millions of people. That's why music lovers decided to pay attention to the quality of performance of the legendary tracks.

Most covers are very different from the original versions and are rather a symbiosis of the author's styles. Many music lovers found it fascinating and praised the most original performers - LSP, Alyona Shvets, Monetochka and Imany.

Poison Prince

I like that a lot of the tracks are very different from the originals. Because listening to copies like Vera Brezhneva's is boring. It's a good compilation. My Michelle, Manizha, White punk, LSP, Monetochka are the top picks so far.

In the comments, people are actively sharing impressions and analyzing what new things each of the artists brought to the table.

Balik Mardaliev

Monetochka - she was the best at actualizing the song, not losing the meaning, giving new shades, preserving the best elements of the old song. Shvets stood the bar high. Good girl. Imany was original as always, she transferred her style to "Tatu" very well. "Vintage" conveyed all the sex of the song, it suits them.

However, many commentators were more conservative and criticized the musicians for taking liberties with "Tattoo" tracks and disrespecting the original.

Chris O'brien.

You could just change all the lines and call it a cover. A cover is a cover because you don't change the lyrics. It's disrespectful to the source.

Ticktocker Dana Milohin got most of all for his cover of "They won't catch up with us". According to many music lovers, it is dangerous and almost hopeless to cover the most popular track of the band "Tatu".

chesh

I turned on the Tattoo tribute, and you know, from now on I forbid Milokhin to open his mouth forever.

Singer Manija was also criticized for combining the song "Don't Believe, Don't Be Afraid" with her acclaimed track Russian Woman, which she performed with at Eurovision 2020. In such a creative solution music lovers saw a desire to catch a high spot.

Maxim Malyarchikov.

And like this, shoving her song in a tribute to the band "Tatu", singing it to an audience that may not even want it, again to get high on the theme of the already passed "Eurovision" ... I think it's very low.

However, some social media users later pointed out that many of the tracks, including Manija's, were written long before the tribute album was released. So, it's possible that the criticism of the performers is unfounded.

The tribute album "Tatu" made a different impression on all listeners - some will update their playlist, and some will forget about it forever. In any case, the revival of the legendary tracks of the scandalous band did not leave anyone indifferent.

Medialeaks previously wrote about Oksimiron's new music video "Who Killed Mark? The dramatic video went viral in memes about exes.

Also, the listeners of Oxymiron's track launched a mock flash mob. In it, Network users are looking for the killers of Borscht and Vanessa Lynx.

Nikolai Koshkosh

Nikolai was born in eastern Ukraine, studied at the Bible Institute, at the age of 13 he started writing provocative graffiti on the streets - big dicks, vaginas. His own face is completely covered in tattoos - this fact once prevented him from finding work in Moscow. And well: now Nikolai rents a studio in the historical district on Chistoprudny Boulevard, paints pictures and beats tattoos - which, incidentally, he considers one of the directions of graffiti. The cost of a session of his work is 5,000 rubles.
