Tattoo of Helena the Bat on the wrist

Tattoo of a bat choose brave guys and girls, because the sacred symbolism of this unique flying mammal in the world is very contradictory. Here we need to remember the very nature of this, even at first glance, unpleasant creature. The bat is a nocturnal animal, which has an excellent orientation even in the most limited space. Already in ancient Greece and Rome it embodied such human qualities as vigilance and discernment. But the secretive, nocturnal lifestyle of this animal, on the contrary, frightened people, more often, causing fear and was always associated with danger.

Elena Letuchaya is a Russian TV presenter, journalist, and producer. Her fame came to her after her participation in the program "Revizorro".

Interview with a master from Yekaterinburg: how Lena was tattooed and what designs are in fashion now.

Ruslan Miftakhov has been practicing tattoos for 10 years already.
- In Yekaterinburg a lot of tattoo salons are opening their doors. Studios are often created by young and inexperienced masters. To be a tattoo master you have to study for a long time. The best variant - to go to professionals, to gain experience, and then already to open something own. Now from the young masters who are already tattooing four years, I can allocate in our city five or seven people working at a good level.

Ruslan Miftakhov, 31, knows a lot about tattoos. He has been doing them for about ten years, but he first started thinking about his profession as a child, when he saw his grandfather's anchor pecked on his wrist. The master told E1.RU how much it costs to get a tattoo, whether such drawings change one's fate and how not to get caught by an unhelpful master.

- I started working at home, like many of my colleagues. Then I started communicating with a master from a studio near my home. He encouraged me to work in equipped rooms," Ruslan says.

- It's strange that you have almost no tattoos. It would seem that this is your life.

- I have one on my back (a griffin), and one on my arm, which I'm currently bleaching to get a new one. Yes, many people are surprised that I have very few tattoos, because, of course, most of the masters are "hammered". But all these works are often of poor quality, because we were just starting out in those days, just learning from each other. And I just didn't give myself to the machine because I knew we would do better. Now I'm planning on getting new tattoos, just getting freer.

Often clients ask for realistic tattoos - so that the portrait is as similar as possible to the original picture.

- What styles do you work in?

- Mostly I work in realism, multirealism (the artist must apply the original portrait, drawing or photograph on the skin of the client as accurately as possible. - Ed.) and Japanese style. But sometimes departing from the usual styles, if I like the idea for a future tattoo. Ready for experimentation, as long as the tattoos I do were interesting and in harmony with the body.

Ruslan explains that realism is a style in which not everyone can work.

- Now the trend is old school (the most popular in this trend are drawings of skulls, hearts, ribbons, angels, crosses, fire, flowers, and anchors. - Editor's note). If I'm walking around town, I only see tattoos in this style. Even at last year's festival, there were a lot of old-school artists among the participants.

Realism style tattoo. Example of a tattoo done in the old school style.

- You talked about the trend. What's the trend right now for people who come in to get a tattoo?

- It's hard to talk about any particular trend. Inscriptions and hieroglyphs, for example, have gone by the wayside. Now a lot of people are doing mandalas (sacred schematic images or designs used in Buddhist and Hindu religious practices. - Ed.) I generally do not like to work with people who follow fashion. I am not interested in it because fashions pass and classics are always relevant. Take old-school tattoos, which still exist, evolve and flourish. The volumetric tattoos have always been in vogue, too, and they peaked in 2008. I don't get them very often, but I do them without any problems.

The master explains that fashion comes with certain subjects. For instance, after movie premieres, people make portraits of main characters like Darth Vader, Batman or Avatar.

Often clients ask to have movie characters stuffed into them.

- Are there many clients who believe that a tattoo changes their fate?

- Among my clients, there are more people who appreciate tattoos specifically as a piece of art. If a person believes that a tattoo changes destiny, it will happen. And if one treats it as a body decoration, nothing supernatural will happen.

Ruslan takes at least 20 minutes to prepare for a session.

- Are there many celebrities among your clients?

- To be honest, I can't remember them all right now. Lena Flying was in our salon when she came to Yekaterinburg, but my colleague was her master. The anchorwoman had a tattoo on her wrist. Also athletes, DJs, musicians - Vitya Aka 47, for example, came to me.

Elena Letuchaya came to the salon a couple of hours before her interview at the E1.RU studio

- What do people talk to you about during your sessions?

- People talk about everything during the session. Sometimes I have to reassure someone who's getting a tattoo for the first time, "Don't worry, everything will be fine. When I start to put the drawing on, I tell them I'm going to draw a little line so it's clear what it feels like. Mostly the first session is talking about the tattoo. And then as it goes, I can also be a psychologist.

They don't do religious scenes very often.

- Masters work with insecure clients?

- A person who comes to the studio with questions about tattoos is somehow ready or prepared for the process. The task of the master is to help you decide on the picture, size and place to apply it. If I feel doubts, I advise not to rush, because the tattoos are not going anywhere. The case is serious enough, and to walk around with it all your life! So I explain, broaden my horizons in terms of tattoos and give homework to learn different styles. If a person is ready for a tattoo, he doesn't need a lot of time to make up his mind.

- Is a tattoo nowadays an expensive pleasure?

- No. It depends on the complexity, the size of the drawing, the time I spend. A color tattoo on Lena's arm (see the picture below) costs about 70-80 thousand for the whole job. And a normal small rose is around six grand. And this is an average price tag, perhaps even lower than average.

The tattoo on her arm cost Lena 70-80 thousand rubles.

- The crisis did not affect your business?

- The crisis is affecting craftsmen more than clients. We order equipment from the States and Europe, and now we spend a lot of money on this (20% more than before). There are not fewer clients now.

- Are there many craftsmen in Ekaterinburg, compared to other cities? In general, is this business developed in our city?

- Tattooing is popular all over Russia, Ekaterinburg is not behind other cities. However Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan and Novosibirsk, for example, are ahead of us in quantity and quality of craftsmen and popularity of this trend. But now the equipment is easy enough to order, so many work at home. Saved 10 thousand, bought yourself a cheap Chinese machine and work in the room, consider yourself a tattooist. In such cases, all the consequences remain on the conscience of the master. Often the young do not even know about the antiseptics.

Tattoo in memory of the merits of our soldiers in the war. Dimensional tattoos became popular back in 2008.

- People often suffer from inexperienced masters. Do people come to you to redo tattoos?

- People come to have their tattoos redone often, but I prefer to work with "clean" skin. The tattooist is limited in the choice of paints, making overlays, and it is not always possible to fulfill the client's wishes, because old tattoos are difficult to overlap.

Ruslan often has clients who come to him asking to redo a tattoo that was applied by a not very good master

- What should a person who wants to get a quality tattoo do?

- If you want to get a tattoo, you have to go to the master, talk to him, see his work, sketches. Make sure he did it. To assess whether he is adequate, because in our profession there are a lot of interesting people. If in doubt, you should look at other artists. And it's better to go to studios rather than home. There are very few places in our city that I would recommend. The right thing to do is to look at the reviews, to consult with friends who have already been to this master.

- Have you ever had a tattoo done on your face?

- No. And if they ask me to do it, I'll refuse, I'm not interested. I don't do intimate tattoos either.

- Do clients often ask for anesthesia?

- They often ask for anesthesia, but I don't have it.

- And who comes more often - guys or girls?

- Tattooing is interesting both to girls and young men, but I think girls are not afraid of big bold works. By the way, girls tolerate pain better.

Elena Alexandrovna Letuchaya

Elena Letuchaya is one of the most beautiful presenters of Russian TV, a journalist, a television producer. People's love came to her after her participation in the program "Revizorro".

This tall statuesque blonde has a lot of detractors, but her fans are much more numerous. Her assertiveness, punchy character and manner of communication irritates many people, but many people are impressed with her. However, both those and others agree in one thing - it is pleasant and interesting to look at Helena Letuchaya.

Childhood

Elena's homeland is the old Russian city of Yaroslavl. She was born there on December 5, 1978, into a family of two civil engineers Alexander and Lyudmila Letuchikh. Her parents were sent to the Baikal-Amur Mainline construction project and the little Lena lived in the harsh town of Tynda in the Amur Region. She was barely seven years old at the time. Lena is an only child in the family, so everyone tried for her, from grandparents to parents. Mom treated her daughter's upbringing strictly and responsibly, and her father indulged the girl in everything. From an early age she was developed very versatile, Lena was engaged in figure skating, went to art school, fine drawing, she grew up restless and inquisitive.

Yelena Alexandrovna Letuchaya

She graduated from high school in Tynda and became a student at the Blagoveshchensk College of Finance and Economics. Two years later she came out of there as a qualified financier. Letuchaya's work biography began at Gazprom, then she moved to Russian Railways, where she performed all her duties perfectly. In 2005, Elena graduated from the Russian Technical University of Railways, where she studied at the Department of Economics.

Television

On the eve of her 29th birthday, Letuchaya abruptly changed her destiny. She became so passionate about journalism that she could no longer imagine another occupation. The girl once again sits on the student bench, this time at the Ostankino School of Television. At the same time, Lena got a spot on the "Stolitsa" channel. Her first project as a journalist touched on an important topic in Russian medicine, namely blood donors. Letuchaya showed all the weaknesses of domestic medicine.

Elena Alexandrovna Letuchaya

A little later Elena went to work on cable television. Her first job was with Zodiak Media, a television content producer. In 2011 Channel One offered her the position of special projects editor. Her duties included preparing the programs "Tonight" and "Let's Talk", which were hosted by Andrei Malakhov. The following year Letuchaya was preparing programs on the MTV channel, and then she acted as a producer of documentaries. It was Elena who produced a documentary about the multi-part film "Kitchen", the picture "Kitchen in Paris", and the project "Vacation in Mexico".

At one time in Ukraine they had invented a program called "Revizor" about the quality of service which was waiting for visitors in this or that restaurant or hotel. It should be noted that this program is unique, with no equivalent worldwide. In 2014, the Russian channel "Pyatnitsa!" decided to create a similar project and bought the format from its creators. Only the title was slightly different - "Revizorro".

Elena Alexandrovna Letuchaya

At first, they wanted to call Olga Freimut, the presenter of the Ukrainian project. But then the choice fell on Yelena Letuchaya, who was approved by the channel's management. Elena very quickly adopted the manner and style of her colleague from Ukraine.

Activity in the new post began with visits to a variety of establishments. Immediately, Letuchaya went to a cafe in the city of Kislovodsk, then visited the Stavropol restaurant "New Rome", visited the market in Rostov-on-Don and Yekaterinburg water park called "Limpopo".

One cannot say that her visits caused joy in the establishments she inspected. However, the anchorwoman herself was sure that her work brings the benefit of her countrymen, contributes to improving the quality of services rendered in Russia. If there were conflicts on the set, Letuchaya always behaved with dignity, did not lose her composure and self-possession. She told her viewers how to assert their rights if the service was not what the seller promised.

Elena Alexandrovna Letuchaya

The famous journalist's program quickly became a ratings success. In early 2016, the Elena Letucha School was organized at the Moscow Institute of TV and Radio Broadcasting, and she was offered the position of a teacher.

In the spring of that year, the journalist announced that she was leaving the program. Her fans immediately began to put forward a variety of versions of this decision. Some said that the anchor did not work with the management of the channel, others argued that she was pregnant. But after Yelena answered journalists' questions, the reason for her action became clear. It turns out that she is not leaving the project, just moving to a new stage - now Letuchaya is its producer. This was insisted on by her husband, after he realized that during the filming his beloved is in the zone of risk, due to the arising discontent of the owners of the establishments.

A new show host was found quickly enough; the job was given to Olga Romanovskaya, a former soloist of the famous "Viagra" collective. Such a replacement did not please the fans of this program. Fans joined a protest organized on the Internet. They launched the hashtag #VeritelenaLetuchaya, and this had an adverse effect on the rating of the program. Viewers assured that Romanovskaya was not able to perform her duties the way Letuchaya did. After these events, rumors spread about Yelena's return to the project.

Elena Alexandrovna Letuchaya

In the summer of 2016, Elena was awarded two TEFI statuettes at once. Thus, her work in the projects "Revizorro" and "Revizorro Show" was noted. This gave fans hope that after the award, Elena will still come to her senses and resume her duties.

To the universal joy of fans, in the fall of 2016, Elena announced that she would host the new season again. The journalist herself was pleased with her return. And there is nothing to talk about the contribution of the creators of the show, they shot just a stunning commercial for the new issue. Yelena was presented as Kutuzov near Borodino, which really amused the fans. Elena's creative career has taken a new turn. In addition, Letuchaya and Kirill Nagiev together lead the project "Revizorro Show". The joy of returning to the program was so great that Elena opened a women's clothing store called "Flying Shop". The catalog of goods the presenter posted on her official website.

Elena Alexandrovna Letuchaya

In October 2016, the journalist took up dubbing feature films for the first time. Her voice speaks the heroine named Jane in the film "Worse Than Lies". In the same year, 2021, Elena got to the set for the first time - she was invited to play herself in the film "Friday!". At the same time, the presenter began to represent the "Eldorado" brand, which launched an advertising campaign called "Uletnaya Disposal". In addition, Elena promoted the medical product "Solcoseryl".

In June 2017, Elena voiced the character Natalie Digest from the animated film "Cars 3". Following this, the cosmetics brand Faberlik offered her to become its face. The journalist also starred in an advertisement for the channel "Friday".

In summer of that year, she was nominated for a TEFI award in two categories - the project "Revizorro. Moscow" and promotional "Revizorro. Moscow Season. Borodino".

In 2017, the first issue of the program called "School "Revizorro" came out. On the air were the participants, potential contenders for the title of the new face of the project. For a month, Letuchaya was the host of the show "Flying Squad," which was broadcast by Channel One. It covered inspections of social institutions.

Elena Alexandrovna Letuchaya

At the beginning of 2018, the show had to be temporarily suspended because the anchorwoman was diagnosed with angina. But the restless Letuchaya could not just sit in one place, she developed a design project, and soon already presented her first collection of clothes. Fashion designer Olga Yakubovich became her co-author.

In September of that year, Channel One presented a new project by Elena - a documentary "Elena Letuchaya. Without garbage in the head." After that, the humorist Yegor Kuksa joked about her, he laughed at her incredible cleanliness, and said that she would make a pretty strict mother.

October 2018 brought her a new "title" - the official face of the CTC TV channel. After a while, Elena's show appeared on YouTube, which she called "Flying Surveillance. Uncensored." Yelena is once again busy researching the trade and service industries, and getting them clean. The anchorwoman once said that on television it is sometimes impossible to tell the truth about how things really are with some brands, but the Internet is more democratic in this regard.

Personal life

Elena did not particularly spread about her personal life, but it was talked about when they saw her in the company of a Russian businessman. As the press claimed, he worked as a lawyer. There were rumors that he left the family and abandoned his two children, but Letuchaya denied this information. When they met, her chosen one was divorced.

Elena Alexandrovna Letuchaya

Letuchaya described her surgery in an open post, and said she did so for two reasons. First - she absolutely did not want to deceive her fans, who always asked her to share the secret of eternal youth. The second was to say thank you to the plastic surgeon who operated on her. There's also a link to this doctor. Some fans appreciated her honesty, others didn't like that she used plastic surgery.

Elena Letuchaya today

In November 2021, the presenter presented the announcement of her new project called "Beauty Formula". Together with her team, Elena has already been to many countries, using the recipes of local residents to preserve beauty and youth. Beauty Journey - that's how Elena called the format of this project.

In addition, she is still filming and releasing her "Flying Surveillance". In the third season of this show, a real war broke out between the host and unlicensed doctors. During an inspection of a beauty salon where the owner's name was Oksana Hovsepyan, it turned out that she was a complete mess with her paperwork, that she was performing procedures in a shopping mall. When the presenter said that she was going to call the police, the master was blown away like the wind. Fly insisted on inspecting the office, but the owner of the salon fought back, forcing the camera crew out. A little more and there would have been a fight.

Back in 2021 Elena became the co-author of Nikita Zamekhovsky-Megalocardi, together with whom she worked on a book for children "The Way to the Dream". Despite the fact that she has no children, Elena can look at the world through the eyes of a child. The presenter herself said that this book will interest not only children, but adults as well. The first copies of this publication were given to the Children's Hematology Center, where it was read to young patients.

In January 2020 a new presenter of the "Revizorro" program was chosen. She became Ksenia Milas. The girl was also compared to Elena, but everyone was satisfied with the result. The first issue with the new host was filmed in Kostroma, in the cafe "Metelitsa", where in 2014 Elena and her team were beaten.

After that, Letuchaya came up with a new project, which she called "Ancestor Kids. This family quiz first aired in the spring of 2021. It was broadcasted by the STS channel. Its essence is that two families are asked questions about their ancestors, about the culture of past centuries. The winner of this show will go to Disneyland.

In addition, Elena was called to the show "Dancing with the Stars" and she agreed. In addition to Letucha, Ekaterina Varnava, Alena Babenko, Maria Ivakova were also invited to the project.
